These actions have reduced CO2 pollution by 300,000 tons in 2019 alone. This is equivalent to 0.3% of Chile's total emissions.
1.5 MILLION TONS OF CO2: According to the report "Objective impacts of sustainable development and greenhouse gases 2012-2019", this program reduced CO2 emissions by almost 1.5 million tons.
The UN has validated Chile's first NAMA: The UN validated the APL as the first nationally appropriate mitigation action in Chile.
